At Littlehampton ELC, we are passionate about learning and believe ‘education is for life’. We offer dynamic career opportunities and encourage career progression. We provide training and development opportunities for our staff and firmly support that we should always be learning and inspiring others.

Staff Training and Development

Throughout the year, Littlehampton ELC holds staff training and development days and workshops. These training opportunities are tailored to staff requirements. Training topics include Montessori curriculum, EYLF programming, policy and procedure training. We also have a Professional Development Manager on team who mentors and provides support to our staff.

Career Pathways

Not only are we passionate about providing a nurturing and home-like environment for the children in our care, we also aim to provide a similar experience for our staff. We encourage training and development opportunities and are passionate about staff growing their career pathway with us. Many of our Educators commenced with us as trainees and have undergone further training with our support to go on be Room Leaders and Centre Managers.

We have been part of this ELC for 2 years, and will continue to be for a while yet. The employees truly care for my kids, and have compassion and support for all situations. I love that it is a smaller setting for kids, where relationships are not only forged between kids, but between families as well.

Mine

My daughter 3yrs old has been attending Littlehampton for two years and my son 2 yrs has been attending for a year. I love this centre so very much as the staff are INCREDIBLE. They go above and beyond with their care and love for the children. Their programming is considerate, well planned and delivered in a fun, educational way for all developmental stages. The educators provide detailed daily reflections of the children’s day and the reasoning behind it, as well as detailed observations and plenty of photos. The families that attend the centre are beautiful as well and I find are a bonus, extended support community from fellow parents. I know that the friends my children make today will be in our lives till their adulthood! This centre is more than a child care environment, it’s your co-parent/teacher/support crew!

My 3yo daughter has been at this centre for over 2 years now, and I'm really glad I chose L ittlehampton ELC, we both love it! The centre is smaller than others which allows for more flexible and personalised care, and has fantastic outdoors space for both babies and older kids, including veggies, chickens and great adventure play equipment. The carers are fantastic, you can tell they are passionate about their work, and they clearly value my daughter and encourage her interests. It's great that they teach self-help and normal life skills like washing dishes (yet make it fun!), and engage in lots of active, creative and messy play. Even though we moved away from the area earlier this year, there is no way we would have left littlehampton ELC, it is worth the extra 15min drive back up the freeway!

We have been a part of the Littlehampton Early Learning Centre family for just over 2 years now. The entire staff involved with the centre are wonderful to deal with! To see my son (3yrs) blossom through the assistance of this centre has been amazing.

From the moment we stepped foot in this centre, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The beautiful gentle music playing in the foyer and the smiling faces of the staff immediately put us at ease. Since enrolling our eldest son, we have never looked back, and have our second son enrolled here too. We have always been very impressed with the care our children have received, the understanding and compassion provided to our family from Sue and the staff, the activities and environment provided for the children, and the inclusion of the Kindy Hub app to run us through what our children have been up to during the days they are in care. Thank you for caring for our children and our family, and providing a safe place for us to leave our children.
